Vision and Mission
Advancing learning, scholarship and research.
The mission of the Hazy (pronounced “hah-zee”) Library and Learning Center is to promote academic success and enrich the learning experience for the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Prescott Campus community by providing an information hub of user-centered services, information resources, staff expertise, and innovative facilities to support interactive learning, teaching, and research.
Library Planning Goals:
Teaching, Learning, Research
Promote effective use of information supporting student learning outcomes through expanded library research resources and programs, and services integrated throughout the curriculum; address unmet needs in the curriculum; and maximize effective use of instructional technology.
Transform and optimize student-centered physical and virtual learning spaces designed to meet multiple learning styles, changing study needs and preferences, including reflective and collaborative areas, and incorporate emerging technologies to contribute to an innovative student experience.
Engage learners to utilize the world of knowledge and data through digital initiatives, open access, emerging information infrastructures and networks, and integration of library systems.
Publications and Communications
Deliver increased access to information resources, in print and digital formats, to meet the changing academic requirements of existing and new degree programs; showcase and preserve scholarly works produced by the ERAU community in the Scholarly Commons institutional repository.
