1. What drew you to select your major?

I did well and really enjoyed my digital circuits class my freshman year, so I switched from mechanical to electrical.

2. How long have you been working for the Hazy Library & Learning Center?

I have been working at the Hazy Library since May of 2019.

3. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know, a fun fact?

I know how to ride a unicycle and play a cello, but not at the same time.

4. What are your plans after you graduate?

I will be working as an electrical engineer I at Sierra Nevada Corporation.

5. What is one thing you’ve learned in the last month?

Characteristic impedance is also called surge or pulse impedance.

6. What is the last book you read and do you have a favorite author?

The last book I read was the 7 ½ deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

My favorite author is John Connolly.

1. What drew you to select your major?

The realization of how much we still need to learn about space. Always interested in dark energy and dark matter.

2. How long have you been working for the Hazy Library & Learning Center?

I have been working at the Hazy Library just over a year.

3. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know, a fun fact?

I love to be outdoors, camping, fishing and hiking.

4. What are your plans after you graduate?

I will work for Raytheon as a System's Engineer.

5. What is one thing you’ve learned in the last month?

I have learned how particles interact with each other and their different properties.

6. What is the last book you read and do you have a favorite author?

The last book I read was A Brief History in Time.

My favorite author is Orson Scott Card.

1. What drew you to select your major?

Loved the idea of engineering and the idea of flight which drew me to aerospace.

2. How long have you been working for the Hazy Library & Learning Center?

I have been working at the Hazy Library since February 2021.

3. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know, a fun fact?

I can juggle a soccer ball over 1000 times!

4. What are your plans after you graduate?

I want to find a career that is closer to my home state, Idaho.

5. What is one thing you’ve learned in the last month?

I have learned to enjoy the moment.

6. What is the last book you read and do you have a favorite author?

The last book I read was The Last Standby Stephen King.

My favorite author is Jeanette Walls.

1. What drew you to select your major?

This is an area that extensively develops your problem solving skills and helps you learn how to think.

2. How long have you been working for the Hazy Library & Learning Center?

I have been working at the Hazy Library since September 2020.

3. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know, a fun fact?

I've never shaved my beard.

4. What are your plans after you graduate?

I will either apply for grad school or work on my startup.

5. What is one thing you’ve learned in the last month?

When a signal is sampled at a rate less than the minimum sampling rate then aliasing occurs.

6. What is the last book you read and do you have a favorite author?

The last book I read was: The Art of Drowning by Billy Collins.

My favorite authors are Whitman, Frost, and Collins.

I really enjoy math and physics - a wonderful world that is pure math.

2. How long have you been working for the Hazy Library & Learning Center?

I have been working at the Hazy Library since May 2021.

3. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know, a fun fact?

I love to travel and have been to over 10 different countries.

4. What are your plans after you graduate?

Ihope to work on astronomical data analysis during graduate research.

5. What is one thing you’ve learned in the last month?

You are your own biggest support system, so always take care of yourself.

6. What is the last book you read and do you have a favorite author?

The last book I read was Cosmic Careers: Exploring the Universe of Opportunities in the Space Industry.

My favorite author is Rupi Kaur.
