LIBRARY COLLECTIONS

Yavapai County residents may borrow items using a Yavapai Library Network card; residents may place a hold on items in the catalog and have them delivered to your home library. Visitors may use the book, periodicals, and newspaper collections in the Hazy Library. Use of databases is restricted by licensing agreements to ERAU students, faculty and staff. Please see the Visitors Policy for detailed information on resources and services use.
Circulating books, reference materials, journals, and DVD collections are arranged by subject, using the Library of Congress Classification system. Technical Reports, primarily microfilm and microfiche, are located in the cabinets on the north wall about halfway through the book collection. They are arranged by report numbers according to the issuing agency (i.e., NASA, NTIS, and NATO).

You can request “fun” or even “not fun” books from member libraries of the Yavapai Library Network which include public, school, and college libraries. Search for books, DVDs, and video games using the Library catalog and place a hold on the items. After placing your hold, your item is delivered to the ERAU library where you can check it out using your ERAU ID. Fiction ebooks and audiobooks are also available through Overdrive by selecting Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on the "Sign In" menu and then sign in with your ERNIE credentials.

If you need assistance in placing holds, check out this guide on how to place holdschat with Research Help, or call us at 928-777-3761. You can also submit a question online to our Librarians.

ERAU students, faculty and staff may request items through the Request from Another Library (ILL) page by using one of the request forms. If you think the Hazy Library should purchase a specific title for our collection, please use the Purchase Request Form to submit a purchase suggestion.

The Hazy Library has a number of items that are available to help you with your study/research needs. From computer projectors to rulers, a wide variety of equipment is available.
